Python Application Developer

• Analyze and develop applications on a proprietary trading platform
• Build out and support a remote risk stack for various asset classes
• Develop analytics and pricing components for a FAS133 hedge accounting platform
• Drive and participate in the design and development of applications
• Work with multiple teams across the institution

• Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL
• Extensive experience using design and architectural patterns
• Design and development experience in modern technologies such as API management, REST/API integration, Containers, and Microservices
• Experience in Web UI (Angular, Spring) and CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of various financial instruments including Bonds, Interest rate swaps, Repo and FX products
• Understanding of risk and P/L generation for the above instruments
• Prior Capital Markets experience
• Creative, quick-thinking, and an aptitude for solving problems with technology
• Ability to work both independently and within a high-functioning team environment

Desired skills:

• Knowledge of key proprietary trading platform components
• Experience working on a proprietary remote risk framework and calculators
