Data Engineer (SMTS / LMTS) - MDM

Experteer Overview In this role you will design, build, and operate AI-powered MDM capabilities to enable trusted data foundations across a global customer ecosystem. You will contribute to enterprise data integration, entity resolution, and golden record lifecycle while advancing AI-assisted tooling to boost developer productivity. This role partners with cross-functional teams to shape scalable, production-grade platforms and governance for data assets. You will lead or influence technical strategy and delivery, depending on your level, within a mission to transform data management at Salesforce. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered developer tools and automation using modern AI platforms * Build end-to-end MDM integrations including MuleSoft, Airflow, API orchestration, CDC, and batch pipelines * Implement entity resolution, golden record lifecycle, and hierarchy management * Develop integrations with third-party data providers (Dun & Bradstreet, Moody’s, Leadspace) for data enrichment * Design and optimize data models, schemas, APIs, and integration patterns for hierarchical/relational/party data * Ensure production-grade reliability with monitoring, observability, security by design * Promote AI-assisted software engineering practices to boost productivity and delivery speed * Collaborate in design reviews, code reviews, and release activities * Troubleshoot production issues and drive long-term corrective actions * LMTS: define architecture, establish standards for scalability/observability/security/operational excellence * LMTS: partner with PMs, Product Owners, TPMs to align architecture with business goals * LMTS: provide technical leadership across internal teams and system integrators Tasks * 8+ years in software/data engineering, enterprise integration, or MDM (SMTS) * Experience with AI-assisted development platforms (Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot) * Hands-on with Informatica SaaS MDM and party data models * Proficiency in Java, REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns * Experience building MuleSoft integrations, API orchestration, Airflow, ETL/ELT pipelines * Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming tech, CDC, and event-driven architectures * Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud-native development * Strong SQL, data modeling, and distributed data processing knowledge * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * LMTS: deep MDM expertise (entity resolution, match/survivorship, data quality, governance) * LMTS: track record in cross-functional leadership and architecture strategy * Related technical degree required Key requirements * time off programs * medical * dental * vision * mental health support * paid parental leave
