Job description

Join our dynamic team as a Remote Bookkeeper and become a vital part of our financial management operations! This role offers the flexibility of working from anywhere while contributing to the accurate and timely maintenance of financial records. You will play a key role in ensuring our accounting processes are precise, compliant with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and aligned with best practices in both corporate and non-profit sectors. If you’re passionate about numbers, detail-oriented, and eager to support organizations with your bookkeeping expertise, this position is perfect for you!, * Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Quicken

  • Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Record journal entries, including debits & credits, and maintain the general ledger with precision
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently
  • Assist with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and governmental accounting standards
  • Prepare financial reports, including income statements, cash flow statements, and budget analyses
  • Conduct account analysis and general ledger accounting to support financial statement accuracy
  • Support tax preparation activities by organizing relevant financial documentation

Requirements

Do you have experience in Typing?, * Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably within corporate or non-profit environments

  • Strong proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms
  • Solid understanding of GAAP standards, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger reconciliation processes
  • Knowledge of governmental accounting practices and tax regulations is a plus
  • Excellent skills in account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis
  • Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately and efficiently for data entry tasks
  • Familiarity with financial concepts including budgeting, journal entries, and financial report writing
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members remotely
