Job description
As a HR Systems Analyst, you will support the ongoing development, implementation and optimisation of HR Management Information Systems (HRMIS) across NHS Lothian., * Leading the analysis, design and enhancement of HR systems and reporting solutions.
- Supporting the implementation and transition to the new national HR system.
- Designing and developing workforce reports, dashboards and business intelligence solutions.
- Managing workforce data quality, validation and governance activities.
- Providing specialist technical expertise and analytical support to HR, workforce and operational teams.
- Leading data migration and reporting workstreams associated with national system developments.
- Supporting the development of new processes and digital solutions that improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Providing technical guidance and support to HR Systems Support and Training Officers.
- Working collaboratively with local and national stakeholders to ensure systems meet business requirements and reporting needs., AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot can be great for planning and preparing your application-but your answers must be your own.

Requirements
- Significant experience in the development, implementation and support of business systems, ideally within an HR, personnel management or CRM environment.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, including experience interpreting complex datasets and writing SQL queries.
- A proven track record of delivering system improvements, supporting implementations and driving continuous enhancement initiatives.
- Experience providing high-quality, customer-focused systems support and building effective working relationships with stakeholders.
- The ability to manage a varied workload independently, prioritise competing demands and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.
