Job description
This is not a traditional customer success role. We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), someone who sits at the intersection of technical implementation and client partnership. You’ll spend roughly half your time building and refining AI risk assessment modules, and the other half working directly with customers to understand their safety programs, translate them into our platform, and ensure the technology delivers real results.
The right person for this role is technically sharp, genuinely curious about how industries manage risk, and energized (not drained) by direct client interaction. You take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks. You meet deadlines because you understand that a client’s safety program doesn’t wait, and neither should you.
What you’ll ownTechnical Implementation
- Build, configure, and refine AI risk assessment modules using Safety Radar’s SAFE AI platform
- Work with large language models (Claude, GPT, Gemini) to develop and improve AI models tailored to client-specific safety methodologies
- Write SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
- Build dashboards and visual reports in Power BI to surface insights for clients and internal stakeholders
- QA/QC AI outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with industry standards
Customer Engagement
- Partner with the sales team on scoping, Statements of Work, and technical discovery during the sales process
- Lead client onboarding: review safety documentation, research industry-specific regulations, and map client programs to platform capabilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned accounts post-implementation
- Translate client feedback into platform improvements. You’re the voice of the customer in product conversations. You help design, scope and build new AI development.
- Maintain regular communication cadences with clients, proactively identifying risks and opportunities, Remote or Hybrid United States 14-17 Hourly Entry level 14-17 Hourly Entry level Digital Media * Gaming * Information Technology * Software * Sports * Esports * Big Data Analytics Monitor and verify accuracy of live e-sports game data feeds in real time, identify and resolve discrepancies, cross-check multiple sources, escalate issues, and collaborate to streamline processes. Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in technical implementation, solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or a similar hybrid technical/client-facing role
- Hands-on experience with large language models (prompt engineering, fine-tuning workflows, output evaluation)
- Proficiency with SQL and Power BI (or similar BI tools)
- Strong client communication skills. You can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent client projects with competing deadlines
- A track record of reliability: you do what you say you’re going to do, when you say you’re going to do it
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
