Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior, hands-on Developer to support and enhance a Numerix-based platform used daily by the business. Numerix Oneview experience is strongly preferred.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong development and production support experience across Python, Java/Spring Boot, and SQL, with the ability to troubleshoot issues, investigate data/output discrepancies, and drive problems through resolution. This is a highly visible role requiring close collaboration with business stakeholders and an offshore delivery team. Strong communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills are essential. Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Python.
Strong experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
Strong SQL development and troubleshooting skills.
Experience working in production support and troubleshooting environments.
Strong debugging and root-cause analysis capabilities.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders.
Experience collaborating with offshore development teams.
Numerix Oneview experience is highly preferred.
Capital markets or financial services experience.
Experience with financial platforms, trading systems, or other data-driven financial applications.
