Job description
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Project Manager in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities:
- Lead the successful delivery of complex IT, digital transformation, infrastructure modernization, automation, AI-enabled, and enterprise technology initiatives by driving execution across scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, adoption, and value realization
- Partner with business, operational, technical, cybersecurity, procurement, finance, legal, and executive stakeholders to align project outcomes with the company’s strategic priorities, airport operational needs, passenger experience goals, and enterprise modernization efforts
- Serve as a key liaison between cross-functional teams, leadership, vendors, consultants, and external partners to ensure technology projects are well-governed, clearly communicated, appropriately resourced, and delivered in compliance with company standards, cybersecurity requirements, procurement rules, and applicable regulatory expectations
Project Delivery & Execution:
- Lead assigned IT and enterprise technology projects from initiation through planning, execution, implementation, transition to operations, and closeout
- Develop project charters, business cases, implementation plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk registers, communication plans, decision logs, and project closeout documentation
- Manage project dependencies, constraints, milestones, deliverables, issues, and decisions to ensure timely execution and alignment with the company’s operational, financial, and strategic priorities
- Ensure projects include appropriate operational readiness, support transition, training, adoption planning, cybersecurity review, data considerations, and post-implementation evaluation
Requirements
- Strong modern project management and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze systems and data in a comprehensive manner as systems that relate to each other within the technology portfolio
- Knowledge of IT project management practices for enterprise systems, infrastructure modernization, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data/analytics, automation, AI-enabled initiatives, and digital transformation projects
- Ability to manage complex projects in operationally sensitive environments where technology changes may impact business continuity, customer experience, public safety, airport operations, or enterprise service delivery
- Strong communication skills in the areas of writing, speaking and listening
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented
- Knowledge of organizational change management, adoption planning, training coordination, stakeholder readiness, and transition-to-operations practices
- Ability to interface with staff and vendors seamlessly throughout the project life cycle
- Ability to use data, dashboards, KPIs, and project performance metrics to support transparency, accountability, and leadership decision-making
- Ability to support procurement, scope development, vendor evaluation, contract deliverable tracking, and vendor performance management
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, identify and define problems and suggest solutions
- Demonstrated leadership skills in motivating teams and resolving conflicts
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, MS Project, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams, OneNote and Power BI is desired

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce’s sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
