Mainframe Developer

• Be an integral part of the Service Quality team, supporting Recall and Software products.
• Provide on-call and production support.
• Complete mandatory features supporting Software and compliance requirements.
• Address product-team deliverables and actively manage the backlog.
• Review and support defect-resolution efforts, assisting with prioritization within the backlog.
• Ensure the product delivers strong value propositions for customers and the business.
• Participate in the collaborative product-modernization journey alongside other IT product teams, vendors, and business customers.

• 7+ years of experience in mainframe development, including design, analysis, and coding using:
• COBOL (IMS)
• JCL
• CA7
• DB2 and/or BigQuery
• COBOL stored procedures
• Real-time and batch processing
• 2+ years of experience implementing z/OS Connect, SFTP, SOAP and REST APIs, and other methods for system-to-system communication and data exchange.
• Ability to design, develop, and maintain Mainframe COBOL and JCL to meet support and project requirements.
• Experience using source code management tools such as Endeavor and GitHub.
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve incidents and business-support issues.
• Ability to perform application-support tasks, including systems support, security and audit reviews, and maintenance activities.
• Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize work based on business impact and urgency.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.

Experience Preferred

• Experience with Google BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform.
