Salesforce Tester

The Salesforce Tester role in Columbus, Ohio involves ensuring the quality and functionality of Salesforce applications through detailed testing, analysis, and collaboration with business and technical teams. The tester will lead quality assurance efforts, develop test plans, execute testing phases, and support deployment activities to maintain high standards in software development and implementation. Responsibilities

• Strong experience with Salesforce testing and quality assurance processes.
• Proficient in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and defect tracking.
• Solid understanding of Agile, Iterative, and Traditional SDLC methodologies.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for documentation and collaboration.
• Ability to perform performance, regression, and load testing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of software security scanning and vulnerability reporting.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience serving as a technical lead or mentor in testing teams.
• Familiarity with software automation testing procedures.
• Background in developing training materials and user documentation.
• Knowledge of source control and deployment activities.

Special Considerations:

• Must adhere to established agency application development standards.
• Responsible for coordinating multiple testing phases and deployment activities.
• Expected to provide mentorship and training to team members.

Scheduling:

• Regular shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
• Position duration is 12+ months with possibility of extension.
