The Impact You’ll Make in this Role The Govt Facilities Spec I position provides dedicated customer support to Government customers. The Specialist acts as the liaison between the patient, VA Prosthetics/Logistics, and internal customers. The Specialist makes sure all needed documentation and approvals are obtained prior to an order being released to bill VA. As a Govt Facilities Spec I, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Provide dedicated call-queued customer service support to government customers and maintain courteous, timely communication with internal and external customers.
  • Manage the revenue cycle for orders billing to VA Prosthetics, including order entry, approval, billing, collections, and VA Logistics order entry and release.
  • Enter orders received via fax, P8, or email within two hours of receipt; obtain required purchase orders and approvals; and follow up on missing information for bill-pending and ship-pending orders.
  • Review contracts and payer requirements, obtain re-certifications/re-authorizations, recommend billing adjustments according to company policy, and provide billing status or invoices as needed.
  • Prioritize departmental work to minimize billing revenue loss, meet assigned performance goals, support process improvements, provide peer backup coverage, and comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • One (1) year or more of call center experience.
  • Two (2) years or more of healthcare collections experience.

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Government experience.
  • Strong customer service skills and demonstrated ability to professionally interact with employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Experience working with ERPs such as Hero, Oracle, Delair, FileNet, or Genesis.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Solid critical thinking, problem-solving, time-management, prioritization, and decision-making skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment while maintaining confidentiality, discretion, and sound business judgment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, active listening, flexibility, patience, and self-motivation.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $45,360 - $62,370, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
