Job description
We are looking for an experienced Information Manager to join a major construction project in London. This is a key site-based role responsible for the management, maintenance and governance of project information and documentation, ensuring the Common Data Environment (CDE), workflows and information management processes are consistently maintained throughout the project lifecycle. This is a long-term delivery project, with completion expected in 2028, offering excellent stability and the opportunity to play a key role from delivery through to handover.
As Information Manager, you will act as the main point of contact on site for all information management matters, supporting project teams and the supply chain with systems, processes and protocols. Responsibilities will include maintaining the project CDE, managing document control and workflows, monitoring information submissions and compliance, producing reports and data analytics, supporting training and user administration, and ensuring information is correctly structured, traceable and accessible. You will also be expected to work in line with BS EN ISO 19650 Parts 1 & 2, supporting effective information management throughout the delivery and handover of the built asset.
Requirements
This is a 5-day site-based position in London, so candidates must be comfortable working on site full-time. Proven ASITE experience is an absolute must-have for this role, ideally including strong administration/user experience and confidence supporting teams in the use of the CDE. We are looking for someone with construction site-based experience, ideally gained with a Tier 1 main contractor, together with practical experience of ISO 19650 and information management processes. You will need to be highly organised, confident communicating across all levels of a project team, resilient and comfortable challenging when required, with the ability to build strong collaborative relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors. A valid CSCS card is also required.
