IT Manager

• We ensure the smooth running of all IT services on site and take proactive, preventative action to minimise downtime.
• We provide hands-on IT support and problem-solving, getting technically involved when required.
• We oversee bespoke applications on the factory floor so products are traced and labelled accurately.
• We manage the IT landscape, ensuring infrastructure is resilient and secure in a manufacturing environment.
• We lead the continuous development of site initiatives, including infrastructure improvements and digital tool adoption.
• We balance day-to-day operational IT requirements with longer-term strategic planning across the sites.
• We develop and test disaster recovery plans to support business continuity.
• We keep a diligent record of IT challenges and ensure they are resolved efficiently and effectively.
• We develop the existing onsite IT team.
• We work closely with diverse stakeholders to align IT and business functions.
• We oversee multiple high-impact projects and support the sites longer-term IT strategy.

• We have a proven track record in hands-on IT support, infrastructure and project management, with a solid foundation in Microsoft technologies.
• We have a strong technical background in networking, including switch/router configuration and cabling, server management, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and domain management tools.
• We are comfortable being technically involved while also stepping back to consider the wider strategic picture.
• We have experience leading teams and delivering digital transformation initiatives.
• We bring a problem-solving mindset and can adapt to change while driving improvements.
• We are eager to lead, motivate, and collaborate in a manufacturing environment.
• We hold qualifications or knowledge in ITIL and understand structured IT service management.
• We hold a full UK driving licence and have access to personal transport.

This is a permanent IT Manager role offering up to 50,000 DOE, with standard hours of Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00, and flexibility required to meet business demands, projects, and time with the team.
