Adviser Technology Officer

We are working with a well-established and highly respected financial services organisation that supports a nationwide network of financial advisers. They are seeking an Adviser Technology Officer to join their Operations team and play a key role in supporting adviser firms with technology, systems, training, and data management.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong blend of technical knowledge, financial services experience, and relationship-building skills.

The Role

As an Adviser Technology Officer, you will support adviser firms in the effective use of business-critical software and systems. You will provide technical guidance, deliver training, assist with data migration projects, and contribute to ongoing system improvements.

Working closely with advisers and internal stakeholders, you’ll help ensure users maximise the value of the technology available to them while maintaining high standards of service and regulatory compliance., Technology Support & Data Management

• Provide support and guidance on software-related queries from adviser firms.
• Analyse, cleanse, validate, and assist with back-office data migration projects.
• Support system configuration, licence administration, and software upgrades.
• Troubleshoot issues and work collaboratively to identify effective solutions.

Training & User Adoption

• Deliver engaging face-to-face and remote software training sessions.
• Create and maintain high-quality training materials, guides, and documentation.
• Support onboarding activities for new users and adviser firms.
• Demonstrate system functionality and benefits to prospective firms.

Systems Development & Improvement

• Assist with the testing and implementation of system enhancements.
• Gather user feedback and provide recommendations for future improvements.
• Work closely with internal teams to help optimise processes and technology solutions.

Compliance & Service Excellence

• Ensure all activities are carried out in line with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Maintain a strong focus on delivering positive adviser and client outcomes.
• Keep up to date with industry developments, technology changes, and best practice.

Are you experienced in software training, financial services technology, and data analysis? Do you enjoy helping users get the most from technology while delivering excellent customer outcomes?, * Previous experience delivering software or systems training.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences., * Experience within the financial services sector.
• Understanding of financial products and adviser processes.
• Experience of data analysis and data migration activities.
• Previous experience supporting business systems or adviser technology platforms.
• Financial services qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential., * Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• A strong team player with a collaborative approach.
• Organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple priorities.
