Job description

We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer with strong application security and modernization experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and supporting PHP applications, remediating security vulnerabilities, and modernizing legacy applications.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on PHP development experience
  • Experience with Mend/WhiteSource for identifying and remediating application vulnerabilities
  • Experience addressing high-severity vulnerabilities (8.0+)
  • Strong experience reducing security exposure across PHP applications
  • Experience supporting PHP and jQuery-based applications
  • Experience with Angular and modernizing legacy functionality
  • Ability to convert PHP/jQuery functionality to Angular where appropriate
  • Strong understanding of application security and vulnerability remediation
  • Experience working with existing/legacy applications and supporting modernization efforts

Preferred

  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • REST APIs
  • Git
  • Agile/Scrum development
  • Experience with enterprise application modernization

Candidates must be able to work in a hybrid environment in Covington, KY and be available on W2.
