Job description

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will lead and optimize complex, ambiguous, and often undefined programs that have significant organizational impact. You will balance near-term deliverables with long-term strategy, navigating delivery challenges and opportunities in rapidly evolving environments. You will partner and strategize with senior leadership to seek out and drive collaborations across organizational boundaries, leveraging advanced technical judgment to inform strategic thinking and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Define and drive strategic, ambiguous programs and processes that address significant challenges with cross-PA impact.

Spearhead efforts to drive consistency, efficiency, and economies of scale across wireless infrastructure workstreams.

Partner with senior leadership across multiple functions to align on differing objectives and drive collaborations across organizational boundaries.

Build and implement innovative solutions to improve operational effectiveness, identifying process breakdowns and anticipating/responding dynamically to change.

Develop technical roadmaps and white papers alongside engineering stakeholders to provide data-driven influence on technical decision-making.

Coach, mentor, and provide guidance to team members, setting best practices for program management within the organization.

Requirements

-Familiarity with ISP access technologies including Managed Wi-Fi, Fixed Wireless Access, and hybrid fiber/wireless architectures

-Ability to reason about performance tradeoffs across coverage, density, reliability, and cost

Network Architecture & Systems Thinking

-High-level understanding of end-to-end ISP network architecture (access * aggregation * core) and how wireless integrates within it

-Experience influencing or evaluating platform vs point-solution decisions (controller-based, cloud-managed, or distributed models)

-Comfortable partnering with engineering on architecture reviews, design tradeoffs, and long-term technical direction

Operational Scale & Reliability

-Experience driving programs impacting network rollout, upgrades, migrations, and operational readiness at scale

-Familiarity with SLOs, KPIs, and telemetry used to measure wireless network health and customer experience

-Understanding of change management, incident response, and operational risk mitigation in production networks

Vendor & Ecosystem Management

-Experience working with wireless hardware vendors, platform providers, and systems integrators in large-scale deployments

-Ability to manage vendor roadmaps, technical validations, certifications, and field trials, aligning them to internal strategy

-Skilled at balancing buy vs build considerations with long-term scalability and operational impact in mind

Data-Informed Program Leadership

-Ability to leverage quantitative data and metrics to inform prioritization, sequencing, and executive decisions

-Experience translating technical complexity into clear narratives and recommendations for senior leadership

-Comfortable operating with incomplete data while maintaining sound technical judgment Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

Ability to influence senior leadership and reconcile competing priorities to maximize organizational impact.

Experience in leading and managing program portfolios across broader organizations or Product Areas.

Technical judgment and understanding, with experience influencing architectural and structural decisions.

Experience in identifying systemic issues and translating them into actionable, long-term transformational initiatives.
