Job description

Clearance Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current and active TS/SCI clearance granted by the Department of Defense or an Intelligence Community agency. Must be able to pass a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. Background: Assured Consulting Solutions provides strategic and innovative solutions for customer needs across the business, technology, and organizational spectrum. As a member of our team, you will have the chance to work with customers that are both Government and industry leaders and technology innovators. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated IT Policy (IT/Cyber/Data/AI) Support to join our team. The Contractor shall use its best practices to prepare required documents. The content, form, quantities, and delivery schedule are subject to Sponsor approval. Delivered documents are also subject to Sponsor review, and approval or disapproval. Disapproved documents shall be updated or corrected and resubmitted for Sponsor consideration. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Researching and writing policies: Conducts extensive research on a range of IT, Cyber, Data and AI issues and develop draft policy documents while ensuring clarity, coherence, specificity, and alignment with other organizational or government policies and regulations.
  • Preparing operational and strategic plans: Contribute to the preparation of operational and strategic plans to guide government or organization initiatives.
  • Identifying emerging trends: Monitor and analyze policy trends that may impact the organization or agency. Provide recommendations that inform policy decisions or adapt existing policies to suit emerging changes.
  • Maintaining and updating databases: Maintain and update databases that contain policy information, research, and statistics.
  • Sharing information regarding policies: Communicate policy updates via various methods
  • Collecting policy feedback: Gather feedback to learn more about how policies affect others and identify ways to improve them.
  • Writing reports: Write reports for policymakers, government officials, and members of the public that are evidence-based, well-structured, and effective at communicating policy rationale., The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires employers to identify the essential functions of a position to determine whether an individual is qualified. Requirements

  • A minimum of four years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager.
  • Experience developing decision-quality materials (strategic papers, options analyses, executive briefings) and driving executive action tracking.
  • Experience overseeing or guiding portfolio/program performance, resource planning, and acquisition/procurement strategy (including vendor management and enterprise licensing concepts)., Requires a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Communications or a related field and at least 6 years of related experience. Four (4) years of related experience may be substituted for a degree. Years of Experience:

  • 6+ years w/ Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4+ years w/ Master’s Degree, * Experience translating mission priorities into actionable IT roadmaps, investment plans, and measurable outcomes
  • Experience with with AI architecture patterns (model hosting, vector search/RAG, data pipelines, APIs, orchestration)
  • Experience briefing senior leaders and driving cross-team delivery., * Ability to work onsite in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) environment, as required
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with government customers, technical teams, and cross-functional partners
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and remain in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively with leadership, customers, and stakeholders
