Junior AI Automation Developer

We are looking for a Junior AI Automation Developer to assist our team in providing precise commercial advice. This position is permanent and fully remote. Much of our current work involves assisting a Berlin-based technology firm that is expanding, requiring us to build tools that track market changes and counterparty activities. You will help us move away from manual data collection and toward automated systems that support our decision-support work. This role is a fit for someone who enjoys the technical side of data but wants to see how that data influences real-world investment decisions. What you will do

• Identify repetitive data collection tasks and create scripts to automate them using Python or other scripting languages.
• Research available AI tools and language models that can process unstructured commercial data and summarize long reports.
• Build basic prototypes for internal tools that help partners analyze joint venture structures and capital deployment.
• Maintain and update existing automation flows used for monitoring counterparty activity and regulatory shifts.
• Gather and clean data from various digital sources to support scenario work for our clients and advisors.
• Work with senior partners to understand how technology can provide a clearer view of ground reality in the market.
• Translate technical findings into clear, written summaries for non-technical commercial advisors and clients.
• Monitor the reliability of automated outputs to ensure the evidence we present to clients is accurate.

• A foundational understanding of programming, specifically with experience in languages like Python or JavaScript.
• Basic familiarity with web scraping techniques or using APIs to move data between different software platforms.
• Strong logical reasoning skills and the ability to break down a complex commercial process into smaller, automated steps.
• An interest in how technology intersects with commercial judgment and high-stakes decision-making.
• The ability to write clearly and explain technical logic without using unnecessary jargon or complex terms.
• A disciplined approach to work, ensuring that every script is tested and every data point is verified.
• A background in a technical or analytical subject, either through recent university studies or self-directed projects.
