Job description
Client is undertaking a strategic Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP transformation impacting Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Inventory, and Project Operations. The ERP Program Manager will serve as PTT’s dedicated internal leader responsible for driving execution, coordinating cross-functional participation, managing internal governance, and ensuring organizational readiness for a successful ERP deployment.
This role will work in close partnership with the system implementation team. The individual will be the primary internal point of accountability for the PTT business and IT focused on removing roadblocks, driving decisions, coordinating resources, and ensuring the organization is prepared to adopt D365 successfully.
Primary Responsibilities
Program Governance & Leadership
- Own and coordinate ERP program execution on behalf of the business
- Lead governance routines, executive reporting, steering committee activities, and stakeholder communications
- Maintain program controls, including RAID management, status reporting, and decision tracking
- Align leadership across the organization and system integrator teams to ensure program objectives are achieved
Business Process & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate engagement of Business Process Owners (BPOs) and subject matter experts across impacted functions
- Facilitate workshops, review cycles, approvals, and business decision-making
- Align priorities and requirements across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Inventory, and Project Operations
Budget and Resource Management
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource utilization to achieve cost-effective outcomes
- Monitor business resource availability and participation throughout the program lifecycle
- Identify capacity risks and coordinate mitigation plans with leadership
- Ensure critical SME support during design, build, testing, training, cutover, and go-live phases
Organizational Change Management & Communications
- Lead stakeholder engagement, communication, and change readiness activities
- Partner with Change Management and Training teams to drive awareness and adoption
- Coordinate communications across business units, site leadership, and key stakeholders
- Promote organizational readiness for new processes, roles, and technologies
Testing & Operational Readiness
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, participation, and defect resolution
- Track readiness criteria include training completion, cutover preparedness, and support planning
Cutover, Go-Live & Hypercare
- Support cutover planning, execution, and business readiness activities
- Coordinate issue triage and stakeholder support during go-live
- Monitor stabilization efforts and post-implementation action plans
- Facilitate transition to steady-state operations and continuous process improvement
Requirements
Required:
- ERP implementation experience Microsoft Dynamics 365 strongly preferred; SAP or Oracle acceptable
- Manufacturing, industrial, utilities, or engineering-to-order experience
- Familiarity with Multi-Level BOM (ML-BOM), MRP, engineering change management, and shop floor execution processes
- PMP or equivalent certification
- Experience supporting transformations involving process redesign, organizational change, and system integration
Experience:
- 10+ years of project or program management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing large enterprise transformation programs
- Experience partnering with external implementation vendors and system integrators
- Experience delivering programs with executive visibility and Steering Committee accountability
Skills & Capabilities:
- Strong executive communication and facilitation skills
- Strong risk, issue, and decision management discipline
- Proven ability to build alignment across senior business and IT stakeholders
- Ability to translate business requirements, technical constraints, and program priorities
- Comfortable working through ambiguity and driving decisions in complex environments
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization capabilities
Education:
- Four-year degree
Travel
- 20% - 25%, While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for extended lengths of time. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. The employee may be required to wear PPE and work in proximity to production machinery and equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Prolonged periods of working on a computer and looking at a computer screen are required.
