Job description
Windows Desktop Administrator Senior System Administrator Command is responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It supports Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. Contract personnel will provide key components to ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT & AV services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments. Manage the operation, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines and their management consoles (Teradici, Wyse Management Suite (WMS), 10Zig Management Console)Provides multi-disciplinary support for mission system services, including life cycle management, engineering, integration, and sustainment of required systems and assured connectivity across geographically separated locationsVerify system performance after hardware and software installationManage product/service issue resolution and upgradesHandle the administration and support of print servicesDiagnose technical problems, escalate unresolved issues according to established procedures, and suggest potential alternative courses of actionEnhance and maintain training & planning documentation and validates recovery capabilities through periodic testing, including targeted recovery tests that are conducted throughout the year.Develops and maintains technical documentation, including manuals, drawings, system specifications, installation records, calibration data, service level agreement compliance, and quality control informationCollaborate effectively with team members while providing friendly, efficient and professional customer service in support of DoW customers in a demanding environmentPerforms shift work as required to ensure 24X7 coverage and support WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED, Technical Training, Certification(s) or
Requirements
