Job description
As a Junior AI Implementation Specialist, you will help bridge the gap between manual tasks and new automated tools for a major Austrian client we are currently supporting. This is a fully remote position where you will spend your time testing configurations, checking data logs, and ensuring that the new systems actually solve the problems they were intended to fix. You will work alongside senior practitioners to ensure that the logic behind every new process is sound and documented. What you will do
- Analyze existing manual workflows to identify exactly where data gets stuck or lost in the current system.
- Set up and test simple automation triggers within the internal software used by our client.
- Monitor error logs and reports daily to catch issues before they impact the wider team.
- Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) so users know exactly how to interact with new tools and automated steps.
- Clean and format datasets in spreadsheets to prepare them for ingestion by new automated systems.
- Participate in daily written check-ins to report on your progress and any blockers you find in the logs.
- Coordinate with senior team members to refine the logic behind specific process improvements.
- Run test cases to ensure that unusual data entries do not break the new implementation., * A fully remote working environment that respects your time and your need for deep focus.
- Competitive pay for an entry-level position that reflects the importance of this role to our project.
- Direct exposure to complex business problems and how they are solved at scale using modern tools.
- Hands-on learning with a team of experienced practitioners who value clear documentation over corporate fluff.
- The chance to work on a significant implementation for a major Austrian client from the early stages.
- A culture that prioritizes written updates and clear communication over long, unnecessary meetings.
- Predictable full-time hours with a focus on stable, long-term process improvement rather than frantic fire-fighting.
- Access to the tools and internal resources needed to build your skills in technical operations and automation.
How we work Tech Pipeline operates on the principle that if a process is fixed, we should be able to walk away from it. We avoid the cycle of endless status meetings, preferring to let our documentation and logs speak for the progress we make. Our team works remotely across various time zones, relying on clear writing to stay aligned. We do not stay embedded in a client’s business forever: we arrive, we fix the logic, we stabilize the system, and then we move on to the next challenge. We value people who find satisfaction in a clean spreadsheet, a clear log, and a process that finally works the way it was supposed to.
Requirements
- Strong logical thinking and the ability to break down a complex task into small, manageable steps.
- Basic familiarity with how data moves between different software applications or through APIs.
- Comfort working in spreadsheets, including the use of basic functions to sort and filter large sets of information.
- Clear writing skills, as the majority of our communication happens through written documentation and messaging.
- A genuine curiosity about how businesses operate behind the scenes and why processes fail.
- The ability to follow technical instructions precisely while also asking questions when a process seems inefficient.
- Willingness to learn new tools and platforms as they are introduced to the project environment.
- Consistency in delivering work on time without the need for constant verbal reminders or status calls.
