SAP Inhouse Consultant Sales & Distribution

• Consult the business by fully understanding processes, identifying issues, and recommending opportunities for improvement with a focus on SD.
• Customizing & Configuration: Adapting pricing, invoicing, shipping, credit management, and order processing to business requirements.
• System Optimization: Identifying and implementing potential improvements in close collaboration with business departments.
• S/4HANA Migration: Supporting brownfield conversion projects from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA with a focus on SD.
• Training & Support: Supporting key users and end users through training and troubleshooting.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining process documentation, specifications, and training materials.
• Innovation & Further Development: Actively pursuing new SAP technologies and recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in SAP SD consulting or support, ideally in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience in SAP projects, both as a project team member and as a (sub-)project lead.
• Profound knowledge of SAP SD processes and configuration, especially in Sales, Pricing, Shipping, Billing, Output Management, and Electronic Invoicing (e-Invoicing).
• Hands-on SAP SD Customizing experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA, with the ability to independently translate business requirements into system solutions.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Advanced ATP (aATP), including availability check, backorder processing, product allocation, and order fulfillment processes.
• Strong understanding of SAP SD integrations and interfaces, including IDocs, BAPIs, APIs, and middleware solutions.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes within Sales and Distribution (SD).
• Interest in innovative technologies and digital transformation topics.
• Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex business processes.
• Programming knowledge (e.g., ABAP, debugging, or other development skills) is an advantage.
• Experience with ServiceNow, including incident, problem, change, and service request management processes.
• Very good written and spoken English skills; German language skills are considered an advantage.
• Willingness to travel (approximately 10%).
