Job description

When people data is accurate, accessible and well managed, the whole HR function works better. As a People Systems Administrator, you’ll help make that happen, taking ownership of day-to-day system queries, maintaining reliable information and supporting improvements that make processes easier for everyone who uses them.

Working as part of a small team within an established organisation, you’ll have plenty of variety, from reporting and system configuration to testing upgrades and new functionality. With hybrid working and the opportunity to build valuable HRIS expertise, this is a great contract for someone who enjoys the systems and data side of HR., * Act as the first point of contact for incoming system queries, resolving requests or escalating more complex issues when required.

  • Maintain accurate HR data, documentation, system structures and training management information.
  • Produce and maintain a catalogue of reports, providing accurate information to internal customers when required.
  • Support regular system upgrades through testing and identification of potential issues.
  • Assist with system configuration, new functionality trials and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and support continuous improvement across the function.

Requirements

  • Previous HR or payroll systems administration experience, including system configuration and maintenance.
  • Practical experience working across HRIS platforms and supporting system updates or upgrades.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills with experience analysing, maintaining and reporting on data.
  • Experience managing system queries and communicating technical or data-related information clearly.
  • Evidence of managing competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of data accuracy.
