DevOps Engineer

• Configure and maintain secure platform environments across development, test and production.
• Support the deployment and release of applications and platform components.
• Develop and maintain automated testing and deployment processes.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and broader DevOps toolchains and practices.
• Administer and maintain Elastic/Kibana, including dashboards, monitoring and operational visibility.
• Support platform availability, performance and reliability, responding to operational issues as required.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues across platform and deployment environments.
• Automate repetitive processes to improve efficiency, consistency and reliability.
• Work closely with developers, testers, architects and operational teams to improve platform delivery.
• Follow appropriate security, governance and change-management processes within a regulated environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of platform engineering and DevOps practices.

• Significant experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer or similar Infrastructure focused role.
• Experience supporting secure platforms and technical environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains.
• Hands-on experience with environment configuration, deployment and operational support.
• Experience with automated testing and deployment.
• Practical experience administering Elastic/Kibana, including creating and maintaining dashboards.
• Experience supporting systems within regulated, security-conscious or highly controlled environments, such as within central government or law enforcement.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Due to the nature of the client, it would be an advantage for candidates to hold, or be eligible and willing to undergo, a certain level of security clearance (SC/NPPV3).
