A Snapshot of Your Day Join us as the 9HL Rotor Program Lead (f/m/d) and take charge of our gas turbine rotor teams, ensuring they are aligned and focused on achieving business targets. You will have overall responsibility for the 9HL gas turbine and rotor systems, integrating and collaborating closely with key interfaces both inside and outside the Gas Turbine. Imagine leading innovative projects that shape the future of our advanced gas turbine technology while driving the success of our rotor systems!

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Leadership of 9HL projects, including budget and schedule management, in collaboration with Integrated Project Team Leads to achieve project objectives for advanced gas turbine rotor systems
  • Driving key innovation initiatives through the evaluation and development of new features and capabilities to strengthen the competitiveness of the 9HL product portfolio
  • Monitoring of fleet performance and collaboration with Fleet Management to implement new product features and enhancements
  • Cross-functional collaboration with service and repair, manufacturing, procurement, marketing, fleet management, business development, and project negotiation teams in support of system development
  • Strategic technical and design leadership for global 9HL rotor engineering teams across product development activities

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Master’s or PhD) or equivalent extensive professional experience in gas turbine development
  • Several years of experience in product design, preferably in turbomachinery engineering with a focus on rotor design
  • Expertise in gas turbine technology, including rotor design, rotor dynamics, and MI, combined with project management experience and knowledge of Agile/LEAN methodologies
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and guide diverse global teams to achieve targets within schedule and budget
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels, with a high motivation to work in an international matrix organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Fluent English language skills, and German language skills as an advantage
