  • Develop and maintain engine assembly models, layouts, and longitudinal configurations supporting new units, modernization programs, and service solutions.
  • Create and update detailed 2D and 3D engineering models and drawings for large gas turbine components and assemblies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and project teams to ensure successful product implementation and execution.
  • Support technical design reviews and communicate technical, schedule, and cost impacts to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in product definition, product configuration, design engineering, or configuration management within gas turbines, power generation equipment, aerospace, turbomachinery, or similar complex engineered products. Candidates with more years of experience may be considered at a higher level, and vice versa.
  • Experience managing product structures, Bills of Material (BOMs), engineering change management processes, and configuration control systems.
  • Experience developing engine or large assembly models, layouts, and product definitions.
  • Proficiency with PLM, ERP, and engineering data management systems such as Teamcenter, SAP, Windchill, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, product structures, material masters, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience with NX, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
