Interim Solutions Architect

Adecco are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a combined authority to recruit an experienced Interim Solutions Architect to support a significant phase of their digital transformation programme.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong Architect who can combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to solution design and project delivery.

The Role

As Interim Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the authorities technology landscape, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, integrated, and aligned to organisational objectives.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, suppliers, and delivery teams, you will provide architectural leadership across cloud, infrastructure, data, integration, and business applications., If you’re an experienced architect looking for a role where you can help define long-term technology direction whilst remaining close to delivery, we’d love to hear from you.

We are keen to speak with professionals who have:

• Extensive experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, or Enterprise Architect
• A strong technical background, ideally originating from infrastructure, cloud, or technical engineering disciplines
• Experience designing and delivering Azure and/or AWS cloud solutions
• Enterprise Architecture knowledge and exposure to architecture governance frameworks
• TOGAF or similar architecture certification
• Strong understanding of integrations, APIs, data architecture, and cybersecurity principles
• The ability to operate at both strategic and delivery levels
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Experience within the public sector, local government, or highly regulated environments would be advantageous.
