Software Tester

Immediate need for a talented Software Tester (Android OS). This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Plano, TX (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested., * Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams

• Detect, track, and document software defects, performance issues, and inconsistencies
• Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and performance test cases for mobile apps and system features
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports and feedback to the development team
• Validate firmware, connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE/5G), and hardware interactions
• Conduct manual and automated testing as per defined procedures and quality criteria
• Perform testing throughout all phases of the mobile software life cycle - design, develop, test, release, and maintenance

• Ability to handle multiple testing tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong understanding of mobile Android OS platforms and device ecosystems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Excellent time-management and documentation skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Plus with Experience with mobile test tools (e.g., ADB, Jira, TestRail, or similar)
• Beginner: 0-3 years of experience in mobile software or QA testing

Pay Range: $30 - $33/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
