Job description

We are seeking a motivated and technically curious Associate Software Architect to join our engineering team. This early-career role offers the opportunity to work alongside senior architects and engineering leads to design, build, and deliver scalable software solutions for personal loan management. You will contribute to frontend, backend, and mobile development while gaining hands-on experience with workflow automation, software architecture, and emerging artificial intelligence technologies. Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to software architecture design and documentation under the guidance of senior architects.
  • Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
  • Build and enhance component-based web applications using Angular.
  • Support cross-platform mobile application development using React Native.
  • Help model, implement, and optimize business processes using Camunda BPM and BPMN.
  • Explore AI-powered capabilities, including prompt engineering, model integration through APIs, and intelligent workflow automation.
  • Collaborate with product, quality assurance, DevOps, and other engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning sessions.
  • Develop an understanding of financial-services systems, particularly personal loan management.
  • Write clean, well-documented, maintainable, and testable code that follows established engineering standards.
  • Stay current with evolving technologies, development practices, and architectural patterns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Up to one year of professional, internship, academic, or project-based software development experience.
  • Foundational knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming.
  • Basic experience building component-based web interfaces with Angular.
  • Familiarity with React Native or other cross-platform mobile development frameworks.
  • Exposure to Camunda, BPMN, or business-process workflow concepts.
  • Interest in artificial intelligence, including large language models, automation, or data-driven applications.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
  • Familiarity with Git and standard version-control workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine enthusiasm for learning.

Preferred:

  • Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Personal, academic, or professional AI/ML projects.
  • Familiarity with consumer lending or personal loan management.
