Solutions Engineer

Qualifications + Experience : At least 5 years in Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, or a similar customer-facing strategic role. Experience with Altium’s products is highly desirable. + Relationship Building: Experience building long-term and successful customer relationships by demonstrating empathy, active listening, and resiliency skills + Subject Matter Expert : Domain expertise and work experience in PCB design or subject matter expertise in functional areas (e.g., ECAD design process, testing, PLM) + Technical Skills : Strong hands-on experience with ECAD software, PLM integrations, and workflow management is essential. + Project Management : Ability to track and coordinate multiple efforts toward a common goal to ensure customer priorities are delivered on time and meet expectations. + Creative Thinker: Proposes solutions using technical knowledge and experience, building alignment and setting clear expectations with customers on the way forward. + Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to accurately describe technical details of customer issues and how to resolve them + Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to different audiences. + Team Player: Build effective relationships with colleagues across Professional Services, Marketing, Sales, Support, and R&D. + Education : Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent degree and experience. + Travel : Willingness to travel, including meeting customers on-site each month. + Language : Fluent in English. Fluency in German is beneficial.
