Job description
We are adding a Data Support Analyst to our team to help with a large-scale project for our partner, a major Munich-based logistics company. This role is focused on the practical side of data management: ensuring information flows correctly between different tools and cleaning up records so that business reports actually make sense. Since Pixel Systems is a fully remote agency, you will work from your own space while coordinating with our team to keep the client custom internal systems running smoothly. We are looking for someone who is ready to learn the ropes of data integrity and support a senior team in delivering stable software. About Pixel Systems Pixel Systems is a small, remote software agency that builds the tools teams actually use. We do not do flashy consumer apps or marketing sites. Instead, we focus on the practical stuff: admin panels, CRM integrations, and the database migrations that people usually try to avoid. Our clients come to us when they need to replace a sprawling spreadsheet with a real database or get their different software tools to finally talk to one another. We believe that working code is better than a perfect plan that never ships. Our approach is straightforward. We provide fixed quotes before we start, we do weekly demos, and we hand over everything, including the code, the documentation, and even walkthrough videos, when we are finished. We use reliable, well-tested technologies like Node, React, and Postgres because we want the software we build to be stable and easy to maintain. We are a team of developers and designers who prefer solving real operational headaches over chasing the latest trends. When something breaks, we are the ones who answer the phone and fix it., As a Data Support Analyst, your main job is to support the technical team by handling the data that feeds into the custom software we build. For the Munich project, this involves moving data out of older systems and into modern databases. You will spend your time identifying duplicate records, correcting formatting errors, and verifying that the data in the new system matches the original source. This is a permanent, full-time position that is entirely remote. You will also help create basic documentation for these data flows so that the client operations team knows how to use their new tools. This is not about building complex theoretical models. It is about the essential, everyday work of making sure data is accurate and useful for the people who rely on it to run their business. You will work closely with our developers to flag issues and ensure that the migrations we perform are successful.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is organized and enjoys the process of tidying up information. You do not need a long history of professional experience for this role, but you should have a solid foundation in basic data tasks. The following traits will make you a good fit for our team:
- A high level of comfort working with spreadsheets and organizing large amounts of information.
- A natural curiosity about how databases are structured and how different software tools connect.
- Strong attention to detail, especially the ability to spot small errors in text or numbers that others might miss.
- Clear communication skills, particularly when explaining technical issues to your teammates.
- The ability to manage your own schedule and stay productive in a remote work setting.
- A preference for practical, useful work over purely theoretical projects.
- Reliability and the willingness to follow through on repetitive tasks until they are completed correctly.
Helpful Background
Benefits & conditions
While this is an entry-level position, having a basic familiarity with certain tools will help you get started more quickly. If you have used Excel or Google Sheets for more than just simple lists, such as using basic formulas or sorting data, that is a great start. Familiarity with SQL or a basic understanding of how information moves between apps is helpful. We use GitHub for tracking our work and keeping our code organized, so if you have seen a repository before, that is a plus. If you have ever worked on a project where you had to move information from one place to another without losing anything, we want to hear about that experience. The position is paid, and the pay is competitive for the entry-level market. Working at Pixel Systems Working here is different from a typical big company. There are no layers of management to navigate and no long meetings that could have been handled with a single message. We are a small group of professionals who just want to build good software that works for our clients. Because we are fully remote, we trust our team members to handle their responsibilities without being watched. We value honesty and pragmatism. When a project gets complicated, we talk about it openly and find a solution that keeps things moving forward. You will see your work being used by real people, like warehouse managers or logistics coordinators, to make their jobs easier. Pixel Systems is a place for people who like to solve real problems without the usual corporate noise. We keep our team small so that everyone can focus on their tasks and support one another without distraction. We believe in doing honest work for a fair price and handing over systems that stay stable long after we are gone. This role is a chance to learn how a professional software agency operates while contributing to a project that helps a major international partner modernize their operations.
