Job description
We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our IT team in Midway, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and efficient network infrastructure across the organization. This includes managing network hardware, supporting end users, troubleshooting issues, strengthening security, and helping drive future infrastructure improvements.
This is a hands-on role for a motivated IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesNetwork Setup & Maintenance
- Install, configure, and manage routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls
- Maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks
- Monitor network performance and maximize uptime
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives
Security & Access Management
- Manage firewalls, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection systems
- Control user access, authentication, and permissions
- Perform regular security patching and audits
- Participate in cybersecurity projects and initiatives
Troubleshooting & Support
- Diagnose and resolve network and end-user technical issues
- Provide support to employees and internal IT teams
- Document incidents, changes, and resolutions
Performance & Documentation
- Analyze network traffic and recommend improvements
- Maintain network diagrams and technical documentation
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades and expansion planning
Requirements
Do you have experience in WAN?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Minimum 2 years of experience in a Network Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of network operations and performance monitoring
- Experience with:
- LAN/WAN/VPN
- Routers, switches, and firewalls
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to support occasional after-hours maintenance or emergencies, * Fortinet Certified Associate (FCA) or higher
- Experience with Arista Networks equipment
- Experience with Hewlett Packard Enterprise ArubaOS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, * How many years of experience do you have as a Network Administrator/Engineer
- Is your current role hands-on with production networks?
- Can you walk me through your hands-on experience managing enterprise network infrastructure-including LAN/WAN/VPN environments, firewalls, switches, wireless networks, cybersecurity, troubleshooting production-critical outages, and user support-and specify the technologies, certifications, and environments (such as Fortinet, Aruba, Arista, manufacturing, or multi-site operations) you have worked with?
