Job description
The Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining a secure, stable, and efficient IT infrastructure. This role oversees network maintenance, security, hardware/software management, and LAN/WAN connectivity across the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting abilities, infrastructure management experience, and hands-on expertise with enterprise networking technologies. This role also requires excellent communication and analytical skills to resolve issues, optimize systems, and support future infrastructure growth.
Essential FunctionsNetwork Setup & Maintenance
- Install, configure, and manage network hardware including routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls
- Maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and related network infrastructure
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity operations
Security & Access Control
- Implement and manage firewalls, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection systems
- Manage user authentication, permissions, and access controls
- Conduct regular security audits and apply security patches
- Participate in cybersecurity projects and initiatives
Troubleshooting & Support
- Diagnose and resolve network and helpdesk-related issues
- Provide technical support to end users and internal IT teams
- Maintain documentation for network configurations, diagrams, and incidents
Performance Optimization
- Analyze network traffic and system utilization to improve efficiency
- Recommend and implement infrastructure upgrades and improvements
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of network infrastructure and changes
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
- Assist with network scalability and expansion planning
Additional Responsibilities
The IT department functions as a service-oriented team supporting infrastructure and users across multiple business units. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical expertise along with effective communication and collaboration skills.
This position requires a proactive, hands-on approach and may involve after-hours support for production outages, shipment-impacting issues, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Requirements
Do you have experience in System performance monitoring?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 2+ years of experience in a Network Administrator role
- Strong experience with network operations and performance analysis
- Excellent communication and user support skills, * Fortinet Certified Associate (or higher)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
- Arista ACE Level 2 certification (or higher)
- Experience with ArubaOS
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
