Job description
This is not an entry-level help desk role. We are looking for someone with real MSP experience who understands how to manage multiple clients, work through technical escalations, plan and execute projects, and communicate professionally with both internal staff and customers.
The right candidate should be able to handle advanced technical issues, manage project timelines, assist junior technicians, document work clearly, and help make sure projects are completed properly from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute IT projects for MSP clients
- Handle escalated technical issues from Level 1 and Level 2 technicians
- Plan, configure, and deploy Microsoft 365, Azure, servers, firewalls, switches, wireless networks, backups, and endpoint/security solutions
- Manage project timelines, task lists, documentation, and customer communication
- Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting
- Assist with client onboarding, migrations, network upgrades, and infrastructure projects
- Review technical scopes and help identify project requirements
- Mentor and support junior technicians
- Create and maintain clear documentation
- Work with management to improve MSP processes, standards, and client support
Requirements
Do you have experience in Wireless network deployment projects?, * Prior MSP experience is strongly preferred
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience
- Experience with Azure / Entra ID
- Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- Firewall, VPN, switching, VLAN, and wireless networking experience
- Backup and disaster recovery experience
- Experience managing IT projects from planning through completion
- Strong troubleshooting ability
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and internal team members
- Strong documentation habits
- Ability to work full-time in office
Preferred Experience
- ConnectWise, ScreenConnect, or similar MSP tools
- Cybersecurity tools such as EDR, email filtering, MFA, conditional access, etc.
- Server migrations
- Microsoft 365 migrations
- Multi-site client environments
- Healthcare or compliance-heavy environments
- Vendor management
- Certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos, etc.
Ideal Candidate
You are organized, technical, responsible, and comfortable being the person others come to when something is complicated. You do not need to know everything, but you should know how to troubleshoot, research, document, communicate, and take ownership.
This role is best for someone who enjoys both hands-on technical work and project ownership.
