Job description

Cloud Deployment Engineers focus directly on delivering Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), platform, and hybrid cloud solutions for Red River Professional Services (RRPS) customers. The RRPS Cloud team designs, implements, migrates, and optimizes secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Senior member of the Cloud Team, you will lead project delivery efforts, cloud modernization initiatives, develop automation frameworks, mentor technical resources, and serve as a trusted advisor for customers adopting or expanding their cloud platforms. This role requires deep expertise in Azure and strong working knowledge of AWS services, architectures, migrations, networking, security, and operational best practices. .

Primary Position Tasks:

Lead cloud migration, modernization, and infrastructure deployment projects across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
Design and deploy highly available, secure, and scalable cloud architectures utilizing Azure and AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
Assess customer cloud readiness and develop migration and modernization roadmaps.
Implement and support hybrid connectivity solutions between on-premises datacenters and cloud providers.
Design and implement cloud networking solutions, including site-to-site VPNs, ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect, VPCs, Virtual Networks, routing, and segmentation.
Implement cloud VDI solutions in Microsoft Azure (AVD) and Amazon Web Services (Amazon Workspace).
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, ARM/Bicep templates, and AWS CloudFormation.
Automate cloud deployments and operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, and AWS CLI.
Implement cloud security controls, monitoring, governance, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance solutions.
Collaborate with Cloud Practice Architects to develop and deliver new multi-cloud service offerings.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and escalation support for junior implementation personnel.
Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to cloud best practices and standards.?

Requirements

5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting Amazon Web Services
