Job description
- Execute client workplans, applying analytical storytelling and data interpretation to identify cost savings and optimization opportunities.
- Manage analytics and client coordination activities independently, ensuring accurate tracking of performance metrics.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by serving as a key point of contact, addressing routine needs, and maintaining consistent communication that supports client goals and engagement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Category Managers, subject matter experts, and Product Advisors to align strategies and implement initiatives.
- Interpret spend data using Vizient tools to evaluate trends and develop actionable recommendations for clients.
- Drive contract performance management by monitoring utilization, identifying tier optimization opportunities, and ensuring alignment with workplan objectives.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to support implementation and adoption of solutions.
- Demonstrate continuous improvement and change agility by adapting to feedback and evolving client needs.
- Apply problem-solving and critical thinking to address barriers and support measurable client outcomes.
Requirements
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 2 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Experience in account management, category management, or healthcare supply chain.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships while collaborating across internal teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate productive discussions.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated agility, organization, and ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.
- Willingness to travel.
Benefits & conditions
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00.
This position is also incentive eligible.
