Software Developers

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards., The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Provide expert technical support for VistA and MUMPS-based applications, including incident triage, defect analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution.
2. Perform root cause analysis across application code, data, configuration, workflows, interfaces, and system environments.
3. Develop and review remediation plans covering code and data impacts, testing, deployment, release readiness, and rollback considerations.
4. Support Tier 2/Tier 3 operations, production releases, validation, post-release monitoring, documentation, and continuous sustainment improvements.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

Significant hands-on experience with VistA application sustainment and MUMPS programming, including production support, defect resolution, and legacy healthcare system maintenance.

Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements., 1. Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs systems, federal healthcare platforms, or other government mission-critical applications.

1. Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps, federal sustainment practices, release management, compliance requirements, and legacy system modernization.
