Job description

  • Provide comprehensive technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues across multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Troubleshoot software problems related to Microsoft Office applications, enterprise tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy.
  • Manage computer hardware assets, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
  • Configure and maintain computer networks such as LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, and network security devices like Meraki.
  • Administer Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO) to control user permissions and enforce security policies.
  • Support IT infrastructure components including Windows Server environments, Linux servers, and network equipment such as switches and routers.
  • Assist with help desk tickets using tools like ServiceNow or Jira; document issues thoroughly and follow up until resolution.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates via SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), system backups, and hardware upgrades.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues using analysis skills; escalate complex problems to senior IT staff when necessary.
  • Support the deployment and management of mobile devices and operating systems to ensure secure access for remote or on-site users.

Requirements

Do you have experience in macOS administration?, * Proven experience providing technical support in a fast-paced environment with strong customer service skills.

  • Solid understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with operating systems including Windows (especially Windows Server), macOS, and Linux distributions.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts such as LAN/WAN architecture, TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, VPN setup, firewall configuration, and network security best practices.
  • Proficiency in managing enterprise tools like Active Directory, GPOs, SCCM, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and network administration platforms such as Meraki.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including switches, routers, servers, and storage solutions.
  • Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
