Job description

Join Keystone Solutions as a Network Engineer consultant for a client-facing mission focused on designing, implementing, securing, and supporting modern enterprise network infrastructures across on-premises and cloud environments. This consultancy assignment spans 6-12 months with potential extension, requires on-site presence three days per week, and may involve occasional travel within Europe. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will bring a security-first mindset and deliver high-quality outcomes while collaborating closely with client stakeholders in a dynamic setting.

Consultancy Nature of Work:

As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will operate within the client’s environment, working on-site three days per week and engaging directly with client teams. You will apply your expertise to their enterprise network landscape across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, cloud connectivity, and security, ensuring alignment with best practices and the client’s strategic objectives.

This mission offers exposure to diverse challenges across on-premises and cloud networking, Zero Trust Network Access, SD-WAN, and enterprise security technologies. You will collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams, contribute to incident response and root cause analysis, and support lifecycle management activities, providing a rich, evolving project scope.

Through this engagement’s scale and variety-from Zero Trust and segmentation to high availability architectures-you will strengthen your capability to lead initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and drive impactful results in a fast-paced context., * Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and cloud connectivity.

  • Implement and support Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) architectures and security best practices.
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security policies.
  • Deploy and support Prisma solutions including Prisma Access and Prisma Cloud.
  • Manage switching and routing environments using Cisco and HPE/Aruba technologies.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and security posture using enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure network integration.
  • Support VPN technologies, segmentation, NAC, and identity-aware access controls.
  • Perform network upgrades, firmware updates, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for network/security issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers where applicable.

Requirements

Do you have experience in WAN?, * 3-7+ years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure engineering roles.

  • Strong understanding of SD-WAN technologies and WAN optimization concepts.
  • Experience implementing or supporting Zero Trust security models.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Palo Alto Networks firewalls
  • Prisma Access and/or Prisma Cloud
  • Cisco switching and routing
  • HPE/Aruba switching technologies
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs
  • Network segmentation and micro-segmentation
  • Firewall policy management and NAT
  • High availability and redundancy architectures
  • Experience with cloud networking concepts in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as:
  • PCNSA / PCNSE
  • Cisco CCNA / CCNP
  • Aruba certifications
  • ZTNA or cloud security certifications
  • Experience with:
  • SASE architectures
  • NAC solutions
  • Automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform)
  • SIEM and monitoring platforms
  • Hybrid cloud networking
