Job description

  • Maintain all building computer workstation hardware, peripherals, and other technology related equipment
  • Troubleshoot all technology issues for the building, including computer equipment and processes, telephones, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Generate and maintain annual technology building budgets.
  • Work with school administration to assist in the management, reporting, and data analysis of core systems.
  • Deliver professional development to school and district staff.
  • Prepare and place orders as necessary to maintain appropriate levels of building technology supplies.
  • Assist with the setup of new computer hardware and software installation.
  • Consult with district Technology Technician, Network Administrator, Director of Technology, and building principal on technical issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Above
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience delivering professional development to adults
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff, vendors, parents, administration and the school community
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to handle a multitude of responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to operate and maintain a wide variety of educational/instructional technology
  • Ability to relate to children in instructional settings
