Job description
- Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
- Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
- Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provides Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
- Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problem and remains involved in the resolution process.
- Configures and manages UN1X and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Support installation and maintenance of Cisco routers and switches in support of enterprise systems for the program
Requirements
- Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
- This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to the job you are applying for:
- Level 03 requires a minimum fifteen (15) years of direct/relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five (05) years of additional Systems Administration experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Benefits & conditions
$175,000 - $200,000 a year
The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
