Job description
As a Data Engineer, you’ll serve as a technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-scale data solutions across Adobe Experience Cloud and modern cloud data platforms.
You’ll work with architects, product teams, data scientists, and client stakeholders to transform business requirements into production-ready data solutions that drive customer engagement, analytics, personalization, and activation., Design and implement data pipelines across Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Real-Time CDP, cloud data warehouses, and activation channels
Build and manage:
- XDM schemas
- Real-Time Customer Profiles
- Identity resolution frameworks
- Customer segmentation and audience activation strategies
Develop scalable ingestion, transformation, and enrichment pipelines using:
- SQL
- Python
- dbt
- Apache Airflow
- APIs and cloud-native integration tools
Integrate Adobe Experience Platform with:
- Adobe Journey Optimizer
- Customer Journey Analytics
- Adobe Experience Manager
- Adobe Target
- Adobe Mixed Modeler
Ensure compliance, governance, consent management, and data quality across all solutions
Partner with architects and stakeholders to deliver scalable, AI-ready customer data ecosystems
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices
Requirements
Are you an Adobe Experience Platform expert who thrives at the intersection of data engineering, customer identity, activation, and AI? Do you enjoy building scalable data pipelines, solving complex integration challenges, and helping brands unlock the full power of their customer data?, * 2+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience delivering client-facing data solutions and marketing technology implementations
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying production-grade data pipelines
- Strong expertise in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real-Time CDP
- Deep SQL expertise including optimization, complex queries, CTEs, and window functions
- Experience with Python, PySpark, Java, Scala, or similar technologies
- Experience with data integration, APIs, cloud platforms, and data transformation frameworks
- Strong understanding of:
- Data governance
- Consent management
- GDPR / CCPA compliance
- Data lineage and metadata management
Adobe Expertise Required
- Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
- Real-Time CDP
- Experience Data Model (XDM)
- Identity Resolution
- Real-Time Profiles
- Audience Segmentation & Activation
- Adobe ecosystem integrations
Additional Cloud Platform Expertise
Deep experience in one or more of the following:
- Snowflake
- Databricks
- Google BigQuery
- Microsoft Fabric, Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) - Adobe Experience Platform
Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) - Real-Time CDP
Adobe Experience Platform Developer Certification, Snowflake SnowPro Core or Advanced
Databricks Certified Data Engineer or Lakehouse Associate, * Adobe Journey Optimizer experience
- Customer Journey Analytics experience
- AI/ML-enabled data solutions
- GenStudio or Firefly exposure
- Thought leadership within the Adobe or data engineering community
- Conference speaking, blogging, or open-source contributions
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical delivery

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
The annual salary range for this position is $94,000 - $155,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
