Data Analyst (Performance Support Officer)

We operate as partnership supporting adoption services across 6 local authorities (Leicester, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and Rutland) to share best practice, and develop and deliver services for adopters , adopted children and young people and birth families. This role is part of the Family Adoption Links (FAL) Hub Team who work collaboratively to support partner agencies and coordinate some core functions of the adoption process., * Design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions using Power BI.

• Collaboration with Family Adoption Links partner agencies to gather and understand their requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Perform data validation, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data presented in reports and those submitted to external agencies
• Liaise with FAL partner agencies to collate data required for statutory returns in relation to adoption work
• Validation and submission of adopter level data on behalf of FAL to Adoption England
• Optimise and improve existing solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation, data models, and workflows.

Do you enjoy using your skilled experience in visualisation tools like Power BI to tell the story behind the numbers?, We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual who can support our commitment to delivering data-driven insights for the Council and specifically to provide high-quality intelligence for the Family Adoption Links Regional Adoption Agency Partnership - helping them understand trends, performance, and outcomes that directly shape the adoption services they provide to children with a plan of adoption , adopted children,young people and their families, Experience with Power BI (or equivalent reporting software) is essential. If you’re professionally curious and able to confidently present your analysis to both internal and external stakeholders, this role is perfect for you.

Knowledge of children’s service data is advantageous but not essential, we are committed to your professional development and will support you every step of the way., In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
