Bath Fitter is seeking a dependable, hands-on Warehouse & Inventory Specialist - Construction Materials / âShop Handâ to support our Wilmington, NC branch. This is a physical, hands-on warehouse position responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, receiving and organizing materials, and preparing the products and supplies our installers need for upcoming bathroom installations. Weâre looking for someone with at least 1 year of hands-on warehouse, inventory, construction, installation, building materials, or similar experience. Experience working with construction or installation materials-such as plumbing supplies, cabinets, fixtures, building products, or similar materials-is strongly preferred. This is not primarily an office or warehouse systems position. The right candidate will be comfortable working hands-on in the warehouse while also using inventory software and spreadsheets to maintain accurate records. Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on warehouse, inventory, construction, installation, building materials, or related experience
- Experience counting, organizing, tracking, and maintaining physical inventory
- Experience receiving shipments and stocking or staging materials
- Comfortable working with construction, plumbing, building, or installation materials
- Ability to determine what materials are needed and prepare them accurately for upcoming jobs
- Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory software and spreadsheets
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to assist with basic repairs or service work
- Valid driverâs license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable attendance and ability to work independently
