Through your work, you will help to ensure materials are available, records remain accurate, and reports support efficient planning and operations. As a Roadway Programs Technician 1, you will perform the following duties:

Data Review:Analyze inventory and usage reports to support maintenance planning and compliance

Storeroom Management:Receive, store, and distribute supplies while maintaining accurate inventory records

Purchasing Support:Prepare purchase requests, code purchasing card transactions, and resolve order issues

Material Tracking:Maintain stock levels, issue materials through SAP, and update reorder points as needed

Inventory Oversight:Perform physical inventory checks, reconcile discrepancies, and assist with transfer or disposal of unused items

Shipment Coordination:Log, inspect, and process incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality

Resumes, cover letters, and similar documents will not be reviewed for the purposes of determining your eligibility for the position or to determine your score., Reconcile purchase orders against material receipts to verify accurate receipt/delivery of ordered supplies and materials, including correct coding. Resolve order/billing discrepancies with vendor and/or agency staff., Track physical inventory for the purpose of maintaining an adequate supply of materials. This includes verifying inventory counts and maintaining inventory records. Consult with personnel to estimate the type and quantity of materials needed for present and planned operations., Develop material and service contracts. Monitor contracts to ensure accurate payment to vendors for material received or services rendered.
Requirements
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
-
One year of experience as a Technical Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) ;or
-
One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent;or
-
An Associateâs Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program ; or
-
Any equivalent combination of experience and training .
