Network Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a Network Cloud Engineer to join a growing technology team responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and supporting enterprise network and cloud infrastructure. This role will play a key part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of both on-premises and cloud-based environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, along with enterprise networking technologies such as routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud networking solutions across Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.

• Support enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and VPN technologies.

• Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments.

• Implement and maintain cloud security controls, firewall policies, and network segmentation strategies.

• Monitor network and cloud performance to ensure optimal reliability and availability.

• Support infrastructure modernization initiatives including cloud migrations and hybrid-cloud deployments.

• Manage DNS, DHCP, load balancing, and connectivity services.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to implement secure solutions.

• Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity initiatives.

• Develop technical documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

• Provide Tier III support for complex network and cloud-related issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise networking environments.

• 3+ years of cloud engineering experience in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

• Strong knowledge of:

• TCP/IP

• Routing and Switching

• VLANs

• VPN Technologies

• BGP, OSPF, and network protocols

• DNS and DHCP

• Experience with firewall technologies such as:

• Palo Alto

• Cisco ASA/Firepower

• Fortinet

• Check Point

• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

• Strong understanding of network security principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure Network Engineer Associate

• AWS Advanced Networking Specialty

• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certification

• Experience with SD-WAN technologies

• Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, CloudFormation)

• Experience with Microsoft 365 networking and connectivity

• Scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
