Job description

Provide hands-on functional expertise in SAP PP (Production Planning).
Configure and support SAP PP processes in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
Work with business teams to understand manufacturing and production planning requirements.
Support Demand Management, MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor processes.
Configure and support BOMs, Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions, and Master Data.
Analyze and resolve production planning and SAP PP issues.
Support integration between SAP PP and other modules including MM, SD, QM, and CO.
Participate in testing, defect resolution, cutover, deployment, and production support activities.
Prepare functional specifications and work with technical teams when required.
Provide user support and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant with excellent hands-on expertise in SAP PP to support manufacturing and production planning processes.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA, with the ability to independently analyze business requirements, configure SAP PP, troubleshoot issues, and support end-to-end production planning processes., * Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP.

Strong understanding of Production Planning and Manufacturing processes.
Experience with MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, Demand Management, and Shop Floor processes.
Strong knowledge of SAP PP configuration and troubleshooting.
Experience with BOM, Routing, Work Center, Production Version, and Material Master.
Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
Strong integration knowledge with SAP MM, SD, QM, and CO.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred

Experience in discrete or process manufacturing environments.
SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration experience.
Experience working with global manufacturing organizations.
Experience supporting production planning transformation initiatives.

Location & Travel

100% Remote within the USA
Initial 2-week travel to Canada is required.
Candidate must be able to travel internationally for the initial onsite engagement.
