CISO Security Architect

We are looking for an experienced Security Architect to support a leading organization operating in complex and critical environments. In this role, you will translate high-level cybersecurity strategy into robust, scalable technical solutions, ensuring consistency, compliance, and resilience across IT, OT, cloud, and network ecosystems. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining a unified security architecture, aligned with regulatory requirements and best practices, while supporting business continuity and risk management initiatives., Security Architecture Design and evolve target security architecture aligned with business and regulatory requirements Apply Security by Design and Privacy by Design principles from early project stages Define architecture standards, models, and best practices Ensure alignment of solutions through architecture governance processes Integrate key domains (network, cloud, IT/OT/IoT, identity & access, data security, cryptography) Risk Management Conduct security and architectural risk assessments across systems and projects Identify threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies Maintain a consolidated view of risks across IT, OT, ERP, AI, and data flows Compliance & Governance Contribute to security standards aligned with frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, NIST, etc.) Support governance bodies and technical decision-making processes Ensure traceability and consistency of architectural decisions Advisory & Support Guide IT, OT, and business teams on integrating security requirements Support solution design, analysis, and procurement processes (RFI/RFP) Ensure alignment of key components (IAM, detection & response, cryptography) Continuous Improvement Monitor evolving threats, technologies, and regulations Propose improvements to enhance security posture and resilience Promote reusable and scalable architecture practices Profile

Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture or similar roles Strong experience in complex environments (IT, OT, Cloud, IoT, ERP) Solid knowledge of frameworks and standards such as, Network security & Zero Trust architectures Cloud security Identity & Access Management (IAM, PAM, IGA) Cryptography & PKI SIEM / XDR / monitoring Secure system integrations (e.g., ERP) Experience with architecture modelling (e.g., ArchiMate) is a plus Certifications Strongly preferred: CISSP Additional certifications are a plus (CISM, CISA, ISO 27001, SABSA, etc.) Soft Skills Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach Ability to simplify complex topics Autonomous, structured, and proactive Requirements EU-based candidates only Fluent in English (minimum C1 level) Availability to travel onsite occasionally (meetings, project needs)
