Microsoft Dynamics CRM Microsoft Dynamics Systems Architecture Operational Systems

Job description

Are you a systems implementation specialist with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics looking for a high-impact, standalone position?

We are working with a manufacturing business (~100 staff) based in Redditch, seeking a Factory Systems Manager to take total ownership of our ERP ecosystem and operational processes. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, this is a hands-on technical and process leadership role with no direct reports-giving you full focus on project delivery without people management administration.

You will be the internal subject matter expert responsible for rolling out best-practice ERP workflows on the MS Dynamics platform. From raw material intake, through shop-floor manufacturing, to finished goods dispatch and sales integration, you will design, refine, and embed seamless inventory and operational systems across the entire business lifecycle., * ERP Implementation: Lead the integration and optimization of best-practice ERP processes utilizing the Microsoft Dynamics platform.

  • Inventory Control: Design, implement, and maintain robust inventory control systems to ensure end-to-end stock accuracy and visibility.
  • End-to-End Workflow Optimization: Map out and standardize systems/processes covering the entire supply chain-from raw material receipt through manufacturing to finished goods and sales.
  • Change Management: Work cross-functionally across departments to ensure new operational processes are effectively adopted and maintained long-term.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading or heavily contributing to MS Dynamics system implementations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in manufacturing management, systems architecture, or operational process design.
  • Demonstrated ability to create new operational procedures from scratch and successfully drive business-wide adoption.
  • Expert knowledge of inventory control, shop-floor traceability, and material flow logic (raw materials to finished goods).

Benefits & conditions

  • Ownership & Autonomy: Total responsibility for the site’s ERP architecture without the distraction of line-managing staff.
  • Balanced Hours: Standard daytime working hours for a healthy work-life balance.
  • Direct line of communication to production leadership in an agile, ~100-person operation.
