Graduate Design Engineer

Your New RoleAs a Graduate Design Engineer, you will support the design and development of new and existing products from concept through to manufacture. Working closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, you will gain exposure to a wide range of engineering activities and play a key role in delivering innovative engineering solutions., * Producing 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CAD software

• Assisting with product design, development and continuous improvement projects
• Supporting prototype development, testing and validation activities
• Preparing engineering documentation, BOMs and technical specifications
• Collaborating with production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable
• Supporting design reviews and problem-solving activities
• Assisting with technical calculations and engineering analysis
• Ensuring projects are completed to quality, cost and timescale requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong interest in design, manufacturing and product development
• Knowledge of 3D CAD software gained through university projects or placements
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
• Placement or internship experience within an engineering environment would be advantageous but is not essential
