Job description

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and delivering engineering projects, ensuring designs are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards., * Manage design projects from concept through to completion.

  • Produce mechanical and structural designs, calculations, technical drawings, and supporting documentation.
  • Carry out and review Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and engineering calculations.
  • Develop and present design concepts and participate in design reviews.
  • Work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support proposal development, project planning, and technical sales activities.

Requirements

  • An HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in mechanical and structural design engineering.
  • Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Strong CAD skills, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
  • Knowledge of fabrication, welding, materials, corrosion protection, and manufacturing processes.
